Thomas Vasov (born 31 January 1972) is a former German footballer who played for FK Borac Čačak, K.A.A. Gent and Shanghai Shenhua. ==Club career== Born in Trier, West Germany, he played with FK Timok Zaječar when he transferred to Serbian side FK Borac Čačak in 1993. In his first season with Borac, they became champions of the 1993–94 Second League of FR Yugoslavia and got promotion to the First League of FR Yugoslavia where he played the following two seasons making 54 appearances and scoring 3 goals in the Yugoslav top-tier.〔Thomas Vasov at playerhistory.com〕 After 3 years with Borac, in summer 1996 he transferred to Belgium to K.A.A.
